Date : Saturday August 17th will go down in the record books as the date of one of the LARGEST CHARITY SAILING REGATTAS ever!

Location : Western Long Island Sound. Starting in the vicinity of Eastchester Bay and City Island. Hosted by Knickerbocker Yacht Club of Port Washington, New York. and the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, Long Island, NY.

Eligibility : Open to all sailors, racers, cruising and racing yachts! Classes for PHRF, IMS, Navigator and Cruising Classes, One designs, Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker Classes and Double-Handed Classes. Open to anyone who wants to race for fun, trophies and to benefit others!

Special Prizes : Team trophies, Trophies for Clubs with the Most Entries, Trophies for Boat Raising the Most Donations and More!

PARTY AFTER THE RACE

Following the race their will be a Cocktail Party and Awards Presentation at the United States Merchant Marine Academy Waterfront at Kings Point, New York. Free one night docking available.

Each Entered Yacht Receives a Huge Bag of Sponsor "Giveaway" Gifts. Early entrants will receive a One year subscription to Yachting magazine in addition to many other "goodies"

Dinner Dance by Reservation, Invite your friends, club members and Guests to meet your yacht at the party!!

Entrance Fee:  $50.00 per Yacht includes (4) party passes and free dockage at USMMA at Kings Point.  Additional passes are $10.00 per person.  Trophy winners who have either been sponsored or make additional donations with their entry will be awarded (2) two levels of more prizes for donations of either $200 or $300 or more.  All entrants who donate $300 will receive a special keeper.   All checks including entry are to be made payable to GIFT OF LIFE, INC.
